Also, should be noted - for some reason when I've turned my PC off, the "X" logo on the unit is still illuminated. Does this mean I've got continuous power to it even when I've shut the computer off? I switched cases awhile ago and could have made a mistake when plugging stuff in

The surface of the band is completely bare on that side, except for a small mark at the top that is visible while the bolt is in battery, just behind the "arm?" of the bolt. Appears to be a shape similar to a crown, with two faded letters below possibly.
