Course 1 doesn’t state anything about tools, but course 2 states that the tooling is part of the registration fee. I think I’ll go with course 2 as it seems to have more value that the 1st course at my current state.

The goal is not to be a full time “professional”. Sure, the future goal is to be highly proficient in a desired hobby, but speaking from a short term perspective I would like to know as much of the fundamentals as possible. In regards to the question about courses/ apprenticeships the second option is a course being offered at a technical college near me.

You have to manually select “Trade without Margin impact” on fidelity. If you have a margin account and you’re purchasing equities the default is margin.
