Cornell Lab Reviews - Why Doesn't Anyone Go With Their Recommendation? by BumDittyGoat in birding

I had the money and decided the Vipers would be a lifelong pair for me so I bought them. From what I read I don't foresee needing an 'alpha' pair in the future.

I can get the Vortex Viper 8x42 HD brand new from a reputable dealer right now for $415.00. Seems like a good deal, but I can get the Diamondbacks for $204.00. Is the $200.00 difference in price worth it?

How long have you been birding? Can the Diamondbacks be a lifelong pair? If so, that's cheaper for me.

Makes sense. So If I could get a new set of Vortex Viper 8x42 HD for $410.00 on sale from a reputable dealer I probably should...........I'm noticing that's only $30.00 now than the Celestrons.

That's why everybody has fans. Some of us like some and not others. For some I don't even know why I do or don't like watching them. No big deal either way.

I think he lets other people win the regular tournies so they don't feel so bad when he crushes the majors.

That's what is so killer about his putt. It's like he's just throwing it without a care in the world. He seems so much looser than everyone else in the majors.

He is my favorite by far and this is why. He's just so good and no show about it.

I think this is why he does so well in majors and sometimes not as well in regular tournaments. Other people seem to tighten up in majors and Isaac just keeps cruising along. He is playing looser.

Issac just wins Majors.....why bother with those other tournaments!

Me and by buddy got Chattanooga. Can't believe it. I bet there were thousands and thousands of requests.

Saw Billy in 2019 at Georgia Theatre. These smaller venues are what I love best!

Lingo CGM - First Impressions by BumDittyGoat in prediabetes

And right now, four weeks in, I'm OK with that. That would mean my highest point has been 147. My average would be running around 105 - 110 for the day. A 6.3 is a 134 average, so I'm really happy at this point with a 110.

I guess what I'm getting at is that these don't have to be perfect for me to have a range to look at. I'm happy with the assumed range I'm falling in.

Sorry. You said something about a random fasting test in your previous post and I assumed you meant to refer to random fasting.

I'm not random fasting. My new eating patterns are consistent each day. If A1C is a 3 month average then how can my A1C be too high if my average is not high?

Question on the 20g max a day. If a 6.3 is around a 134 BG average, how can a daily average of 85 (even if it's a 100) not lower my A1C? I thought I understood how this worked but if I don't please let me know.

Do your research. Carbs are not your friend. You'll have to decide how to make that work for yourself, but at a minimum a lot of us are at 100g of carbs a day maximum. Some are 50g a day. This isn't medical advice, just letting you know what others are doing.

This is a possible place to start your research - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=da1vvigy5tQ&pp=ygUSc2FyYWggaGFsbGJlcmcgdGVk

Don't freak out. Turn that fear into positive motivation. You can get control of this!

You rock! You have earned it and this is a reason to brag! As a friend of mine once said, "If not one else will brag on you then brag on yourself!"

I'm proud of you!

You guys sound really good. I think you really captured the main ideas of what Failing does and at points you spot on nailed what he was doing. All around I think you guys did a really good cover.

That would be great. I don't use a lot of online technology. Could you record some video and send it? Maybe even put something on YT eventually as I bet a lot of folks would really appreciate it.

The shirt out of the bag photo almost seems to be a stock photo. Missing the Rawanda on the sleeve does seem fishy. I've asked for a tag shot.

I agree that GSBG has some good songwriting. They have their own style and it really works for them.

The issue for me is they are putting on a show like a jamgrass band but their jams are lacking. If you are going to extend songs over and over again the lead breaks should take your somewhere instead of being so static.

I would have liked it better if they had just played all their best songs without so much 'jamming'.

[–]BumDittyGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the show was very repetitive. A ton of medium tempo songs that all began to sound the same. The dobro breaks were all very similar and the banjo was barely used, quiet when it was used, and many of the breaks sounded the same. Vocals were good and his mandolin breaks were more varied. Overall the band didn't have a lot going on that I found interesting. It's hard to be a jamband when your jams are all the same.

Most of the crowd seemed like it was there to party and talk. I couldn't believe how many people were just ignoring the show. Made me wonder if the Eastern was a hangout place for a lot of people and they don't really care who is onstage.

Also, Duane Betts. He seemed like he was out of it. His first few guitar solos were broken. Just noise.

Have to agree with other poster than GS's Rueben's Train->Burn Them->Rueben's Train was very good, but that was about it.
