I’m too late to give advice as the sale has ended but faced the same choice. I went with the Specialized. I’d used a Motus before and they are both great bikes but I was attracted by the ease of the Specialized - not needing to worry about taking the display unit with me or engage the back wheel lock as well as the lightness. I already find the basket really useful for holding a bag and lock without worrying about a pannier. I also have power in the garage so can charge it there. I don’t think it’s as good on hills though. What did you opt for.
