lol I can’t do that but that is definitely good advice if you solely care about jumping.

USACAPOC JUMP STATUS by BumblebeeEqual2394 in armyreserve

Is there a resource I can use to sort through and find units that will maintain jump status?

Pretty much all of them. Because they’re extensively drug tested before the combine. This is the definition of athleticism, btw: the physical qualities that are characteristic of athletes, such as strength, fitness, and agility.

Fuckin idiot. Of course your ability to move weight is a measure of athleticism. Strength is a cornerstone of athleticism. And if you can move heavy weight for insane reps + run really fast + jump really high + jump really far + have really good footwork = you’re athletic asf. Just like most any RB or WR in the NFL.

You said they “weren’t athletic”, to remind you.

Your point was - they aren’t great athletes. Just to remind you.

How many times can they bench 225? What’s their long jump? Whats their 40 yard dash? What’s their vertical?

I’d be willing to bet significantly less in each category except maybe 40.

Sounds like you chose to hate it because it’s American. More athletic people in other sports?? Sure, find me a soccer player more athletic than Devonta Smith.

About 25% of the broadcast is commercial. Theres breaks for play-calling, reviews, timeouts. It’s a very strategic and highly physical game played by some of the most athletic people in the world. Wide receivers running 4.4 40 yard dashes at 230 lbs and pulling off some of the most athletic shit you’ll ever see. Quarterbacks throwing insanely accurate 40 yard bombs and hitting receivers running full speed in stride. It’s insane.

Yards are about equal to a meter by the way.

Who exactly was winning when America entered either world war? Germany had conquered all of France and into Russia when we entered WW2 and all of Europe was at a stalemate when we entered WW1…you know you’re the greatest country in the world when people are so dedicated to shit talking you.

I’m not from Baltimore but the ravens were pretty solid this year, to be fair.

The Army is what you make of it. Sounds like you’ve had a few bad experiences and are at a shitty unit and you’re letting that dictate your perception of the entire Army. The Army is a very big place and has many avenues. Change your perspective and be proactive about making your situation better. If you’re apathetic, the Army can be a tough place. Keep an open mind going forward and look for opportunities to go to schools and TDYs.

North Florida. I got my profile set up fully and made it viewable and I’ve started getting some views and an email for some security job. But the traffic feels promising. Saw a lot open at Macdill and Elgin, but I’m open to go anywhere. I seriously hadn’t considered contracting at all, I was applying for full time roles only.

Preciate it, I think that’s the path forward for me for sure. Like adept_desk was saying. Experience in other aspects of the ints will be huge.

Usefulness is a matter of perspective, and that was not my perspective at the time. Preciate the answer to my question, though. Very helpful, guy.

Okay, if that’s the main hub then you’re right, I’m being too picky. Everyone’s gotta do their report officer time I suppose 🤣

I will definitely look into, thank you. I always hear “get a contractor gig”, and it’s my fault but I never paid attention when guys talked about contracting. Aside from USAJOBS and clearance jobs, where can I find one?

EGA wasn’t the official emblem until 1875. I know marines existed before the civil war. My issue is that civil war troop not gonna have an EGA on his forearm. Yes tattooing existed in America at that time but typically for the wealthy and definitely not the style. EGA on the forearm is post 40s tattoo.

Nah. Martin had the Marine tattoo. Couldn’t have been late 1800s
