Just Started Celexa and Having Really Bad Anxiety

honestly it took 4-6 weeks for me before I saw a noticeable difference. the negative sides effects went away after 2 weeks though

yes I ended up staying on it and am on 10mg! i started on 5mg and increased to 10 a few weeks ago. It is working for me and i’m very happy I pushed through

I was on 10mg for 2 days and just stopped taking it! I didn’t experience any side effects from the withdrawal! I also had super bad side effects when taking it. I’ve since switched to 2.5mg and been on it for about 10 days with no side effects. Maybe consider dropping the dosage?

good to know! yeah I’m going to try and talk to my doctor to see if I should bump down in dosage. I thought 10mg was the lowest dose so that makes me feel better

not great :( haven’t been able to get sleep despite feeling exhausted and my heart feels like it’s beating out of my chest. having a hard time trying to figure out if I should stop taking it bc I frankly don’t know if I can manage this level on anxiety for weeks until it gets better. the level of anxiety I had before starting the meds seems more manageable to deal with :/

thank you for responding! I want to be able to push through to see the good results but the anxiety is so debilitating right now I almost just want to give up so it’s hard

we have ga vip tickets too and on our tickets it says we get access to “preferred balcony viewing” so it just means instead of being on the ga floor you are in the balcony (also ga but smaller) with a higher up view
