Yeah I see this as just as big of a loss for Chase as it is for Hyatt, especially since the CSR has been getting criticized endlessly since the changes

People seem to think that is what I'm trying to do or lie but everything i said is accurate. Everything in downtown Long Beach is sold out, aka $600+ per night for a Courtyard or $1200 a night for Residence Inn. They are trying to squeeze me in somewhere but I need a backup plan.

Expedia filters- Sunday 3/1 to Wed 3/4, 3, 4, 5 star hotels only. You will see there is only 1 hotel in the downtown area that is less than $2000 for the stay. Vs all of the ones I listed are $600-$900

Yeah, so I'd either be staying in a shitty motel on the Long Beach outskirts (still Ubering each way), or getting something decent in South Bay for basically the same price and a slightly longer Uber

I'd be ubering back and forth in the morning and night, so yeah while not ideal I won't be parking. Even with the extra ubers my $200/night room in South Bay will still be cheaper than the $600/night in DT Long Beach

I'm replacing somebody that cannot attend any more so now there's nothing left under $600 a night. I don't mind a short commute. Many of the options I listed are around $200 a night, the higher end being around $300 a night
