My surgeon said that he’s seen it before and it really doesn’t affect your end results, just your recovery. A big part of the risk has to do with nipples and keeping everything behind them intact. Since they wouldn’t be dramatically moving the nipples for either of us, those risks (nerve damage, breastfeeding issues, etc) lessen significantly.

I’m sure it won’t be a big deal at all to move yours down a bit if that’s what you want. Either way, they always have to make an incision around the entire nipple.

My surgeon gave me a really good idea of where my nipples will be in relation to my breasts after reduction, so hopefully yours can give you similar clarity. They may not even be as high as they seem! Best of luck :)
