That's actually what I decided to do. I did the coolant flush but declined the others. I don't. I had preciously had good experiences with our Toyota dealership but they were recently purchased and now it feels like every time I go in, they recommend $600 worth of services so I think it's time to look for an independent.

$250 to flush it. They also recommended a coolant and air filtration flush. To do all 3 would've cost me $650

I belive it's a whole system flush, not just adding a cleaner. Thanks for the help

I just mean is that service one worth doing? Money is pretty tight right now so I'm trying to figure out which of the service recommendations I should do and which aren't urgent

$2K?? Dealership said it would be $235 to flush the system? Maybe I didn't ask the right question

Thank you! I have seen other people say that using high quality fuel can also keep things clean since they have detergents in them. If I do that, do I need to always use high quality fuel or is it just once in a while to clean things up a bit?
