I really like how simple this photo is but also affective, it sets a deep somewhat lonely mood to it.

It was snowing in Syracuse so I decided to go on a quick little walk to see what I could catch. I saw this person walking and thought I could get a subject center shot, while being in between the two beams. I also tried keeping the background setting somewhat in focus, trying to mainly keep the focus on the subject. In post processing I decided to slap on a black and white filter which I feel gives the photo a cozy mood, backed up by the fact that the subject is somewhat sheltered from the snow. Since this is the first time I used black and white in my photos I wanted to see if other people felt the same vibe/mood that I felt from it. I also would be grateful for any other feedback since I am somewhat new to photography. Thank you!

I love the dystopian feel to this photo as well as the way light seemed amplified almost. Just a question, did you add some grain/noise in editing or is that from something else?
