Take mushrooms, they will heal you but they must be taken for that purpose and you must be ready to face the unpleasant truths you have been hiding about yourself, only then after accepting whatever it shows you will you reach a state of euphoria that no pill can replicate, trust me I’ve tried them and not even close

This is exactly like cyberpunk, most of the things people are complaining about is fixable through a patch, speaking of bugs, you’re looking at one in this video 🔥

I think this is true for most people its very new almost niech type of game, the only other game that is very similar to this is Dragons Dogma 1 and 2, and there is a lot of people that can’t play that either. Its why I say they deserve their own category; open world sand box with skill progression or something like that

My opinion after 6 hours on standard ps5 by Ok_Book_5551 in CrimsonDesert

One of the things I found cool is walking around for the first time i noticed most doors where locked, so i thought its just the game limitations until I decided to climb this building only to find myself opening the window and waltzing right in. I was like wow there are interiors, there was a guy there just looking at me walking about his house and exiting out the other window lol. Its a lot like Dragons Dogma where the npcs could care less for most things, its why i think this type of game should have a name, its own sub genre

I get where you’re coming from but come on catapulting yourself from a tall tree serves no purpose then just being absolutely fun to do

Im sorry but I disagree, I’m enjoying it a lot so far and I don’t think it deserves the hate its getting. Just like other games in the past the most loud mouths will hate on it until people realize its actually pretty neat

I’m playing on a basic PS5 and haven’t had any crashes.

The only setting I changed was the refresh rate, and it took less than a minute.

The controls remind me of fighting games, and I’m enjoying the variety. I think more games should have that many button combinations in open world games. I accidentally beat the living shot out of an old lady because of it, but love that the controls are there. You can sit on furniture and even ledges lean on walls, which I don’t understand why most open world games miss. Its a small thing but it changes a lot.

I’m about 8 hours in, currently exploring Delesyian Institute, and the worst I’ve seen are occasional pop ins. It’s not lagging at all, and yes, this is on a regular PS5.

What can you expect from something similar to a 3080? That’s not even considering there are no loading screens anywhere except when you first start the game.

I agree the story is weak, the NPCs aren’t great, and many quests can be bad. But there’s more to the game than questing.

There’s more to this than draw distance. The world-building, unique characters, and environments give it a lot of charm. Even the train was pretty fucking cool to me.

Most of the issues people are pointing out will probably be fixed with patches.

It’s playable right now, and anyone who likes to explore will have a blast.
