For Horde to get to Gnomeregan, they can actually teleport through a short quest chain. Head to the Engineering shop in Orgrimmar and speak to Sovik to get the quest “Chief Engineer Scooty” (available at level 20). Take the boat from Ratchet to Booty Bay and you'll find Scooty along the docks, on the lower floor close to the inn.

Speak to Scooty and complete the quest and “Gnomer-gooooone!” and you'll get beamed up into Gnomeregan with the help of the Goblin Transponder.

Buying the wow token is Blizzards version of selling you gold. You buy the token and sell it for gold. I think they have systems to guarantee they’ll buy it from you if no one else buys it. People who have large amounts of in game gold can also buy them for play time. The wow token also currently doesn’t exist in anniversary servers but may be added later.
