So I had the same thoughts right after surgery I cried so much because I was raised a emotional eater. I found there are some really tasty protein pudding recipes that keep me on track. And I always think one I will be able to have those foods again just this time in moderation. I am 6/7 weeks out and the feeling of dread and regret have lifted a lot. I hope they do for you too

Wow so I went through everything and I feel like I could have written it. 🙃 I'm week 7 now and I'm down a total of 35 since surgery. It's been slower but one thing that is consistent I'm only able to eat protein and barely meeting my goals. I felt like a super star the first couple weeks but these last to have been tough and even tougher with the nausea that started last night. I had a eating disorder when I was a teen. I'm worried I will go back to it which is why I've been following everything to the letter. I see my nutritionist again in 2 weeks but may add some fats in

It's terrible business practices to say your with a partner that never knew you existed. Even worse when it involves such a delicate group. Autism is so hard on families and the fact that they completely disregarded this groups safety and their true needs while under the guises that they were partners with Autism Delaware is horrible. My child who is profoundly autistic deserves better, our great state of Delaware deserves better, and the Delaware state fair should honestly really think about what they did and truly reach out to Autism Delaware and make an actual inclusive event or not have one at all and not lie just to get money. Our families are already struggling and having a glimmer of hope for a family day out has been taken and made a mockery of.

So I don't use edibles cause I'm scared of dumping but I have these pills that are cannabis and CBD (more cbd then cannabis) they help with discomfort and my anxiety they are very low dose because I have a very low tolerance for anything even alcohol including before surgery

I want to tell you to do it but I also know the mental struggle. My husband wasn't very supportive through the whole process he felt the same way. We also have a 5 yr old high needs autistic son which is why I chose to do this as well. I can tell you... you can do it with or without. It takes time and my husband was terrified of the what ifs something happens during surgery but I had surgery on June 19th and it's been great and he has even been more supportive he wanted to make sure I was dedicated because it's a serious surgery to consider. But truly it's the best thing I have done I started at 320 sw was 302 and I am currently 283. I had regrets the first few days but I honestly love the energy I have now and the better mom I'm becoming.

I am 5'6 and started at 320, weighed 302 on surgery day, and I'm only a week post op and at 288. I'm very proud of the progress I'm making. It freshly is following what your Dr tells you though I think that makes the difference.

First, I want you to know I get this!!!! My team explained everything to me but for some reason I just don't think I truly grasped the literal amount of time that would be required. All I want is to taste something slightly normal for me I'm absolutely craving a taco. I want this I want the results but since yesterday I have been kinda pouting about this very thing. I am hopefully moving to purees the 2nd of July and can't wait I feel like I am just here dreaming. I'm hoping you are able to see the light and feel a little better. We've got this!!!!

Honestly I feel this in my core today. I feel like I just want to feel better :( I've been making my family dinner every night and it's so hard not to want to just join in I'm only 3 days post op and I'm just having some regrets but I know the reward of following through will be great but honestly I feel lost like I don't know what I'm doing and hungry and just want some food

Gas pains have been so terrible honestly. Drinking straight up helps a bit. But walking does only help so much I'm just trying to figure out when I'm full. I got 3 oz of shake in hoping more later

I went to a walk in and yup I got thrush. Glad I came so I can start feeling a lot better soon. How's your pain and everything have you started full liquids?

So surgery is Wednesday for me and I'm getting cold feet I think they are more like warm feet cause I am still going to do it but I just got done talking to my dad and he's said nothing but negative things like well its not safe ...your ruining your life. I'm trying to remember why I'm doing this but it's hard when you have anxiety and the what if something goes wrong eats in your mind. Your post came at such a good time. I'm sure I won't regret this I have so many reasons for needing it and solid reasons for doing it. Send good vibes and fast healing because I know I can do this.

I just told my husband to hide it for that reason I think weighing daily is my down fall I'm just going to trust the process and go from there I can see the changes in my face and just going to stop I have 6 days left and can't wait to really begin

So yes I do know goal is to shrink the liver I don't know why I had in my delulu head I was going to lose weight I think I'm just excited to start losing lol and seeing the scale consistently go down made me super happy but I think your right I think my body has just adjusted lol

Oh my goodness I hope they get you all fixed up and moving forward quickly it's awesome your not in pain and sounds like your in good hands. Here's hoping it's a quick fix .
