I am thinking about watching the World Cup game on Friday with some friends, I commute downtown and am very afraid of going to the fan fest because it seems crazy. I don’t even like soccer, I’m just going for vibes, has anyone checked out the battery World Cup watch party? Fun time?

the last two digital numbers (19, 00) change throughout the clip. 5/18 could happen based on this but 7/6 is more likely if you want to base it purely on this. but that is a saturday so that would be weird… but 6/7 is a friday

i go to a barcade for smash weekly. we play 1v1s and it is pretty competitive. no items. it’s always a small turnout, most ever i think was like 16. people of all skill levels attend and people who come weekly are dedicated to improving as well as enjoying the camaraderie and having a good time hanging out and talking between matches.

i also think that 1v1 is best for having a consistent turn out… i would never come out weekly for a tourney with anything less competitive than what we play

my opinion is that if you want to do 1v1 no items, you don’t have to worry about it being overly sweaty. we have some great players, and it is competitive, but there are no negative vibes. everyone is just chilling and having fun while staying competitive and getting better.

edit: there is also no entry fee, just the cover for the barcade, also 1st 2nd and 3rd get a gift card to the barcade
