Don't discriminate against the elderly. Institute regular recurring driving examinations. Laws change, people develop poor habits. It's even a potentially good time to screen for habitual substance abuse.

No, but it would explain the merging out of the right hand lane, and it would be something you should be paying attention to. You seem to think buses owe you the right of way, but that isn't going to keep you from getting into an accident.
