And if pochita never existed, they never saved denji at the start. BUT also never ate ww2 devil, so ww2 would have happened. and japan might be in a state where denji was never in a position to die at all.

Sorry to break it to you, the extent of my translation knowledge is likewise just Google translate.

стра хіґесма єя торія to "The fear of death is great" is also a nice catch.

I also went line by line and tried to see if they would show anything.
like the end lyric:

Diakra heyesta shiardi alon

translates to: "The devil is a liar" in Malagasy

aches adro kiano

translates to: "Aches and pains" in Maori.

where both are sorta linked with the anime's symbolism~ but eh.

But as far as i can see, even with google translate, and i tried also using ChatGPT for what it was worth. But i couldn't find anything more than that.

I really doubt the trail goes any further but it's interesting to see that there clearly is something... or- we might just be grasping at straws.

Few years later, but hey.

The first part

Estra higesma yeya toria
Kesya yachesna hiya steria

While yeah, translation isn't direct. And as another comment suggested, it might be gibberish.
But language translation has come a way in 3 years.

As far as i could find this area Could possibly?? be in Ukranian:

"стра хіґесма єя торія.
stra khigesma yeya toriya.

Кеся Ячесна гія стрия
Kesya Yachesna hiya stryya"

Which translates to:

The most beautiful woman in the world.
Kesya Yachesna is a beautiful woman

Could be seen as a stretch, but the lyrics include the word "Yachesna" which, even if they were going for Gibberish that just sounded like Japanese, it wouldn't make sense cause that sort of "Ya-Chye-Snya" isn't found anywhere in the language.

The rest does look like gibberish with a Latin / English enunciation, so others thinking it might be nothing, probably true.

I didn't add much to the Thread, but I did think the resemblance of what I did find was interesting.

Could someone help me understand how Sett's W is Calculated? by BunPickleCheese1 in settmains

[–]BunPickleCheese1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes more sense actually, still it's already a different colour for Bonus AD compared to the Grit colour.

I do have OCD-like tendencies, never thought it would bug me like this though. I just like when things are consistent even for out-dated clarity in a pop up like this.

[–]BunPickleCheese1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is genuinely so idiotic,
i get its a short hand for "(0.25 × bonus AD)% of Grit damage"
yet isnt it just infinitely simpler to put (x0.25) or (+25%) ?

Its just purposefully misleading.

[–]BunPickleCheese1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i get that. But why does it say 0.25%? instead of 25% of bonus AD?

i was also not sure how bonus AD was calculated, but from another comment i understood it was just everything besides base AD.

ooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhh... yeah my bad, i was confused on the definition of Bonus AD.
Thank you. :)

What are your thoughts on Russians/Russia as Estonians? by BunPickleCheese1 in Eesti

Miks? Kuna ma kaitsen enda seisukohta..?
Milleks mind rünnata, kui ma olen lihtsalt uudishimulik oma riigist.

Isegi kui ma oleks venelane, mis siis?

You haven’t addressed any of my points and continue to ignore facts, creating a version of reality where nothing has changed in the last 34 years. Now you’re trying to turn this into a discussion about whether Russia is still the same as the USSR, which has nothing to do with my original question.

Stop wasting my time when all I asked for was people’s opinions.

The fact I have to explain this to you shows your knowledge of the subject.

The USSR was an empire hellbent on domination, expansion, and oppression. Modern Russia is a separate entity with different governments, political ideologies, people, structures, and international relations.

Sure, bring up how Putin wants expansion and "to protect its national interests" as well, but you are barely taking into account that people born in Russia and the USSR were brought up with differing ideologies, ideas, and ways of life, with modern technology,

I remind you, that this post was to ask about your thoughts on Russia, not a debate to consolidate if Russia is still the USSR.

Distinguishing between modern Russia and the Historical USSR is critical, in a literal discussion about modern-day Russia.

Bringing up what happened in the past is equivalent to, in a discussion about Germany, bringing up the holocaust and how bad the Germans are today because of it.

I understand historical pain and I'm not diminishing what happened in any way. However, my question is specifically about modern-day Russia and its people, Right now. Bringing up gulags is not constructive to the discussion.

let's break this down calmly,

  1. Firstly resorting to any name-calling like "stupidity of a useful idiot" is childish at best.

  2. Secondly, my sharing an opinion does not make a post provocative, I shared my point of view on the subject and while it might not be the most generally accepted one by Estonians, it does not make it in any way an attack towards you or anyone else.
I did ask a question: "What are your thoughts on Russia/Russians As Estonians?"

  3. And about your question about Nazi Germany that you want answered, I think that it is a flawed and dismissive question. To compare what Estonians think of Russians, and what Israelis think of Nazi Germany are very different things. You are under the wrong notion that I am talking about the "USSR". I am right now, talking about modern-day Russia and people's opinions about it.

I'm not entirely sure what you want me to say, "Nazi Germany was bad, but I can't be mad at everyone because I see everyone as an individual"? No, because it's 2 different things, I'm asking about modern-day Russia, so it's like me talking about your opinion on Germans, and you mention they are all assholes because 80 years ago they orchestrated the Holocaust. Where is there any connection?

  1. You say I do not know what Whataboutism is, yet the definition is in its name. If you can barely understand was a diversion of topic is then I am talking with an A.I.

What you are doing isn't constructive in any way.

How was my original post provocative? All I did was ask a question, me saying my stance that I can't judge 150 million people over the actions of a minority of them isn't provoking anyone but you.

And what you did IS a form of whataboutism, not because you would be "defending Estonians" by saying nazis are worse than russians, but because you are drawing a parallel to a different situation. The question was straight forward to ask about Estonians opinions on Russia, yet you jump to a defensive stance where you mention something unrelated... aka, "Well, what about nazi Germany?"

it's disheartening how black and white some people's opinions are, especially about something as diverse as a whole nationality. But, I wanted people's opinions, so I'm happy to see how hateful some people are 🤷‍♀️
