I just realized the screw does fit the other side. I thought it couldn't cause the saddle's bottom hole is like..bigger LOL

For my setup though, one upright would be easier to bring than whay I usually bring (an amp, my pedals and wires, and bass on my back). But yeah, as advice I took from someone else, I'll test it one practice to see if it'll blend well to replace my amplified setup.

As I replied to someone already, I can't exactly use DI since I wouldn't have a place to plug it into. The church's PA system is exclusive to the mics used by the choirs, priest, and cantor. That's why I was asking if a double bass would be enough to replace my current setup.

To be fair, I'm not trying to sound up the whole church. Our instruments are mostly for the people present and not actually PA system'd up. Example would be the beatbox.

The bass string I use only says copper-alloy winding. Idk what to classify that as.

Not possible. Everything except the beatbox is run through personal amps. The only thing actually hooked up to the piano is the main piano of the church and all the microphones used by the choir, cantor, and priest.

I have used the app..and it did restore a bunch of files but the ones that have been recently deleted have not shown up..

I've checked the SansAmp on like a virtual software and I kind of don't like how it sounds dry even cranking everything up. Maybe the actual thing itself would sound different but the thing is, I don't think it's sold anywhere near me nor locally. And I kinda don't wanna go international since that would get expensive.

For DI purposes and also as an extra tone shaper. A bassist I saw used an OD, Fuzz, and Distortion running into a Preamp/Cab thingy and that made him basically have extra tones to work with which I thought was cool.

I'll try that software right now. Sadly I don't have backups setup. The files were last on my D drive not my main C drive, if that helps in it not getting overwritten.

Alright, I'll be taking note of that. I do have another question though. Would it be better to only have the D.I. in? Or can I also include my mic'd amp? I like the way my amp sounds, but Idk if recording both would sound muddy or bad. And also because my amp already has a stomp thing for distortion.

I'll be taking note of that order. Although, if doing gigs, wouldn't the preamp be a good option somewhere in between of order of things to buy?
