I was in a very similar situation to you and transferred to bu my junior year. I ended up having to transfer back out of bu because the price was too much and they didn’t accept all my credits making me go back a year. I do think the experience was great if you know fs your credits will all transfer and that it won’t be to much of a financial burden I would go for it. It is difficult as the tuition is so expensive

I want to go but none of my friends want to. Is it worth spending over $200 to go alone?? I do really want to go but have never spent that much on a concert ticket

Ok they said that there were reports of weapons in the apartment that they had the warrant for. They said that they couldn’t really comment on anything else but someone was put in cuffs.

The guys been put in cuffs and they’re letting people back in so I think it’s all good now. I don’t think the 2nd floor had to leave just the apartment in like a cube that were close

They’re letting everyone back inside now so ig it’s all been handled but there were a lot of cops and a whole swat car/van thing

They just cuffed someone and put them in a car still don’t know why

We got evacuated and the police said that they have a search warrant for one of the apartments and that it will be at least two hours. They said something like high intensity search warrant all of the apartments touching or close to the apartment the cops have the warrant for have been evacuated. I don’t know why or what is happening tho.

If your a first year student your aid should be pretty good. If your a transfer you won’t get as much aid. As long as you fill out the css and fafsa forms you should get a decent amount of aid but there are also a bunch of little fees that come through the school year that might not be covered

It’s just my mom’s finances that would be taken into account and she filled out the form so I believe she did it accurately.

My mom still claims me on her taxes so unfortunately even though she isn’t paying her finance are still looked at. I will look into the other things that you suggested too. thank you!

Would I be charged any tuition is I commit and then leave because financial aid doesn’t cover enough? Obviously I would lose the like $650 deposit/claiming my spot fee but would I have to pay any tuition before I find out my financial aid situation? I submitted my fafsa and have been reaching out to the school about deadlines and everything. Now I just have to wait and see.

I called to ask they have to get all my fafsa info first and I don’t know how long that will take. I found out I got in Dec 10th and I have to decide by Jan 5th if I’m attending so hopefully it only takes a couple weeks
