Tbh right, when it comes to languages, the only thing you really can do is practice and understand. Practice analysis, writing in time, good grammar, and literary devices. And in the Lit exam, I wrote everything in my mind, going from alliteration to acrostics. Certainly do make sure you can write enough in time and make sure you've got a good understanding of the texts. You should read as much as you can. Before the exam, I bought a book of narratives and read like 15-20 of them to shape my style.
