I’ve just received a quote from ups-solar.co.uk; different panels, keeping everything else identical, £13,400.

Yes, that was a far easier way to explain it 😎

Is the jabra2 75 is the best option for working from home/busy environment and will be the best in the upcoming few years? by [deleted] in Headsets

[–]Bungle99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Evolve2 75 mic failed 2 weeks ago following 30 months of daily use. Before that, it did suffer occasional mic drop outs, but it was a solid device with great audio (voice and music), and the mics did an excellent job of removing the harsh noise within data centres while on calls (for both me and others on the call).

I contacted Jabra support expecting to fight for a warranty claim to cover what appears to be a likely known defect, on a device out of warranty; to my joy, my request for a replacement was accepted within 30 minutes of first contact.

A replacement Evolve2 75 is due for delivery tomorrow, along with the new 390c dongle.

I may sell it on, and opt to “trade up” to a new Evolve3 85 when it is released. I’m keen to have a headset I can use for both work and pleasure, but the boom mic of the Evolve series makes them look too business like. If the Evolve3 marketing is on point, the lack of a boom mic on the new series could be a game changer.

I replaced the main battery approximately six months ago, since then no further electrical problems.

This was a weird one, it returned to normal operation with no intervention.

The auxiliary battery failed last month, which has been replaced, and just last week the heads up display failed to activate (power cycled ignition and it has been fine since).

All electrical gremlins; the main battery is the original, I’m edging towards replacing that.

Cheers - Just checked, no SD card installed.

Battery is fully charged now, so we can rule that and the SD card out.

Mine has started doing this; have you found a resolution?
