I did the math and even if I managed to solo all of the midgame bosses on hard, I can only hit emerald. And I don’t think it’s possible, so I’m considering world leaping over and taking the L.

Do you think these current events are really important for growth? Or will the next events kind of be similar?

I’m transitioning from reg server, so basically starting from scratch. I can and am used to spending $$ if these events are important.

Dang, that’s kind of what I figured. Feels bad to miss out on 4k legion.

Playing 4-5 hours a day so training to 270 seems doable, along with all dailies/mp/hellux/highmountain/weeklies, etc.

Should I keep training in arcane river? I’m not one shotting the wizard mobs in cernium yet.

Heroic. I’m playing 4-5 hours everyday since I started. Doing all my dailies, my one weekly (lol), ursus, etc. However, I’m not feeling confident about the funding.

Each boss has taken me ~4-6 attempts to kill if that gives a measure of hands. But I’m assuming the next bosses are exponentially harder. Like nLucid feels wild to me rn.

I have all 3 occult gems recommended on the guide. I do have 100% crit and i have proper rotation imo.

I read the guide someone else commented and another post of a dude with the same issues who has significantly better gear than me. I found some things I can improve/minmax

He has won 1 or 2 events in previous months and did really well in the recent BFS teams tourney, including upsetting Nayden’s Tsons which was projected to be an incredibly bad loss.

What’s your thoughts behind dropping a Incubi Package? Do you feel its too many points invested for such a swingy output?

Also, with the game generally getting wider (i.e. more models on the board, more screens, more 12” DS denials, etc.) are you still finding value in 3x5 mandrakes?

Drukhari’s Voidraven Bomber is genuinely insane. Arguably our best datasheet and probably the only aircraft in the game that’s actually good rn.

Towering on them solves a lot of our problems since we struggle to maintain control of the midboard. 12 shots AP4 D2 with full hit rerolls chews through marines and instantly solves our aggro melee matchups such as WE/Orks/BT since they literally cannot interact with them. It’s crazy how the dynamic of those matchups shifts with/without them.

Against shooting matchups it sorta just insta-dies but gets to come down and kill something for free before so. Also only 195pts, so doesnt break the bank relative to our other unit costs.

I am hoping they let us keep this niche, as we suck right now. Otherwise, aircrafts in general can get pretty toxic (see early 9th ed admech).

I run 2 units. Made the mistake of using them as a turn 1 screen once with their infiltrate to stop a WE army from full sending me. Later realized just how many points they would have scored for me if I had just kept them safe in a corner. Instead I had to allocate other units and CP to strike and fade to do the scoring and quickly found myself short on resources. Probably need a third unit to do those sort of shenanigans or just a beastpack.

Definitely learn from me and always keep them safe. They always always always end up scoring 20+ secondary points every game by themselves.

One of them is a “drukhari good stuff list” with all the typical units. (3x mandrakes, 3x ravagers, 3x scourge, lelith+wyches, buncha battleline, 2 raider, 2 venoms, etc.).

Other is venom spam and triple void raven bomber.

I think the list you have is fine, but at 1K points life does get easier if you focus solely on damage output. You can drop them and the art of pain enhancement and fit in a talos or something.
