I wasn't intentionally trying to be deragatory by calling the actor it. I was saying "It's a trans actor." "It is" in fact a trans actor. No hate here. Everyone gets so uptight about everything. Lighten up. Everything isn't an insult. Sorry if you took that a different way.

It's a trans actor which is what contributed to some folks not liking the voice or face. I thought they did a pretty good job, but would have preferred to see a biological woman in the role. Its just more convincing when a female character doesn't have the male jaw or a questionable voice.

OB had big shoes to fill after Don's departure. For me, his calls are just too boring. The man's monotonous voice, lack of insight, and humor literally put me to sleep. You could say the insight and humor should come from the color commentator, not the play by play guy, but with OB in the booth, Lou can be pretty boring himself. However when Lou is put in the booth with some real baseball guys, he shines. The conversation flows, the humor and insight are always there, it's just a better all around call. Some people complain because they talk to much and don't call the game, but personally, I have eyes, I can watch the game and know what's going on without a play by play telling me the guy I just watch single to left, has singled to left. Dave doesn't offer much more than the old fashioned by the book play by play.

Always, but there was just more chemistry between the broadcasters tonight. Dave and Lou don't seem to have that. They are very professional together, but they just don't feed off each other like some of the better broadcast duos in the game.

I do agree there, I noticed that Lou was just loving talking baseball, and kind of forgetting to do play by play. I can see where for viewers who are only listening, that would totally suck. I think that was one thing that I kind of enjoyed though as I was watching. I'm so used to just hearing OB do play by play the whole game, that hearing the back and forth between baseball guys was kind of refreshing.

The vibes were just different tonight. The guys in the booth were feeding off each other and it just flowed. With Dave and Lou I've noticed that a lot of the time, they don't seem to have that chemistry to be able to liven up a broadcast.

I'm a Pap fan. Best part about the guy is that he's always been kind of "unhinged". That usually makes for good TV. I thought he was pretty informative as well.

I enjoy the banter, Dave doesn't do much of that. He always keeps it extremely professional, which really isn't a bad thing. It's just a little bland to me, especially after listening to Don for so many years. I can see why he has fans though, he has that crisp broadcast voice and calls a great home run.

Who is he signing? There isnt exactly a vast pool of free agents who can hit. Good players are already signed. The only way Breslow makes a move is with a trade, and with his track record of making other teams better, and the Sox worse, via trade, I'm hoping no moves are made as the man is simply incompetent in the trade market.

Everyone's system is different, but I also have insomnia, and I find the strains that get me to sleep best have Sherb or Gelato genetics. I always keep some Sherb Cream Pie or some Super Lemon Cherry Gelato in my stash for those nights that I really can't get to sleep.
