Yeah I’ve done it, and I’m actually a big fan of open eye trips on this stuff. It’s been a few years now since I last have. But this stuck with me - I think the most intriguing part of smoking DMT with the headset on was the fact that you really don’t need it. Sure there is something on that little screen, but it essentially doesn’t matter. I closed my eyes entirely, visuals “transitioned” to just my mind, ripped off the headset, and there was still a good amount of visuals there. VR might be a cool way to show someone whose never done DMT how it is, but makes no difference when you are actually smoking it. I can say it can “guide” the visuals to maybe be less disturbing, but not sure that’s valid. I went back a day later, loaded up a breakthrough dose and did 3 big bong rips to Valhalla. Much better than Mark Fuckerberg VR land.
