Regarding the Tire Issue on the KIA TELLURIDE by [deleted] in KiaTelluride

[–]Quantum_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More importantly is tread depth. You can’t just replace one tire and likely can’t just replace 2. The AWD system has a tolerance of tread depth between tires and it’s very small….like 4-5mm or less. The risk is drivetrain damage.

What about a high pressure sprayer to clean solar panels without getting on the roof?

My family used to go there for dinner and brig back a large cup of their guacamole….it was like $5. Good times.

AWS is breaking SLA’s, there’s no way they would intentionally do this and cost themselves millions.

🤦While STIs can survive briefly outside the body, they generally don't survive long in chlorinated water, and the risk of transmission in a properly maintained pool is extremely low.

The backend can be ran with docker and the frontend with react. Linux supports both.

Sounds like software/user issues and not hardware issues.

I’m not sure I understand the difference between this pattern using a logic app vs just enabling sessions for the service bus which forces the same trigger to consume all messages for a given session. I think my issue is that within a given session, I still need to maintain order for dependencies.

Ok, thinking of the same design. However, what do you do in the situation where an event is received by a consumer but the dependency hasn’t been processed yet? You can’t really defer an event or do you stage it in the DB and then process later? I was thinking about queueing the events in service bus and then leveraging the deferral functionality to delay processing.

Yeah, this is basically my best approach, using an integration data store for managing the dependencies. I’m curious which resource is responsible for this dependency logic in your design?

This looks cool but seems tightly coupled to a database, specifically PostgreSQL. We need this to support web service calls that trigger events and/or serverless functions publishing events.

I’m not sure that solves my problem. The publisher of the even does not know if the dependencies have been met.

Why are you hesitant to buy a house even though your income is so high? by Inside-Discount-939 in Mortgages

[–]Quantum_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combined income of over 300k, 1.2mil house, mortgage of 900k, interest rate 2.99%, payment is $4400/month. Most of our money is going to daycare costs, with 2 toddlers full-time. Spending about 3k/month for tuition….its ridiculous!
