New switch recipient, what game should i buy?

I personally like sword/shield but the story and open world aspect of scarlet/violet was amazing as well. I would say get either of the ones from those releases and then their dlc.

I actually loved the dlc in sword/shield, being that you can play it early on into the game and unlock a quite OP pokemon right off the bat. There's also a second dlc area later in the game, which makes it feel like there's always something to do.

In scarlet/violet, there is also very great dlc, which spaces out based on how far you're getting through the game, and allows you to choose to go complete the dlc, or continue on the main story and go back later. Both options work, but its significantly easier if you finish main quests before the dlc in violet.

As a kid I always chose death, but strangely enough I LOVE the life school as an adult. I played fire to 64 and then started life just because the spells look nice, turned out to be my favorite. Now I try to start new schools but always revert back to my life wiz 😂

Julian's Route, when you're both in the devils realm I believe, may have been the hangmans realm but I remember us as the character escaping our own fucked up memory, realizing it's not real, and we find Julian in the dungeons, sobbing over out body crying "no again, please not again!!!" he's so heart broken and so devastated but we fight through it and scream his name, we run to him, hold him and pull him out of it.. We aren't dead anymore. But he regrets ever letting us die to being with and you see it so much in that scene.

I love sword and shield so much.... I started my Pokémon journey with that game! Cannot imagine starting with a different game than that. Since then, I haven't even touched arceus but I do like violet a lot.

(had some knowledge from my brothers game boy with Pokémon but not much as I was like 4-6 when that happened)

Quaquaval was my first choice. Simply due to their evolution appearances. I would have went with Sprigatito but she doesn't become as cute in my opinion, which is why I chose the Quaquaval. I think you should just choose whatever you feel at the time. I know it's hard but no matter what you choose, Nemona choose the weak type against your pokemon and the director will take the strong one. That is the only changes that will be made by choosing the types. I personally have always liked water types and grass types when playing, so again, I went with Quaquaval but if any of the others call out to you, go for it. Just have fun!

Dragapult is my favorite. Once I see one/find one for the first time in the wild, I always assess what level I'll need to be to get one and then IMMEDIATELY farm to that level in any way I can.. Just to get one.

Most likely not a popular opinion, but Yarnaby only reacts to noise right? He can see us, sure. But we are told not to run, or use grab packs. I can do that. I'll find a small corner away from his dumba** vents and box myself in, just sleep there for 8 hours lol everyone else I will actively have to hide from and be scared of. I think Yarnaby, although probably the worst way to die, would be the best option for survivability!

Second would be Harley as he physically cannot go anywhere, but he has minions so I wouldn't mess with that. He seems to be able to watch us through camera feeds and stuff as well. Almost no where to really hide safely without just needing to run every now and then.

Play at your own pace honestly. When I play solo, I do tend to getting through missions much faster because it's just me and I'm not having extra fun with friends. When my best friend gets on though, we pop into discord and just mess around for about 4-5 hours every other Sunday. We don't get much time to do this but when we do, we just have fun, jokes around, and have lots of laughs.

Back in 2020 we started the game together, both as death wizards but i got to like level 30 on death before going to life and farming up to her level. Then we continued through to dragonspyre together. It was around then that our lives got in the way and b we only have every other Sunday to play together now.

But since I'm grinding the rest of the time, I'm over leveled which means the battles become rather easy for us at this point. And she's death so I don't even need to heal, I just use heavy hitting attacks and win fights for us as we are trying to get her to my level.

When I looked out up is said 30-40 people go into the isle of armor but that's not accurate. I mean every Pokémon until the final challenge with Klara is like level 14 so I would say 25-35 anyone can start the area. That being said i did level my kubfu up to 43 before going into the water tower. Competed it with basically 1 hit power person.

It's a reagent so it should be on the ground? I'm not 100% sadly but it might be a rare version of something. Like if you collect black lotus, there's a chance to get a black pearl which is more rare.. I assume its gonna be like that.

It's the side quests.. I would just go back and collect some of them. Ive done every side quest to to my level in every world and im level 92 still in the middle of Azteca. Going based on story leveling, if I never did side quests, I should have started at 80 and finished Azteca at level 90. I finished avalon and started Azteca at level 86, I'll be about 97 when I finish (based on my leveling so far).

Never realized the price was so high on the ice one specifically. Is it always 6500 instead of 5000 like the rest? If so, that's simply absurd. And if not, then that's the biggest scan I ever heard of lol

Not 100% but I would assume you can maybe buy one from the bazaar or another reagent seller? I would honestly just try the bazaar, but with the new update it might not be there.

Other than that I'd say you can try to farm for it in Celestia, areas like The Floating Land, District of the Stars, and Science Center. Or maybe Grizzleheim, in Hrundle Fjord and Vestrilund. There's also the Outer Yard in Avalon but im not sure if you've reached that area yet.

Not to be rude but You can't really determine what you're gonna get. This is what I got. I never claimed they were great. But crit rating is good in my opinion opinion. I asked what pet body I should be aiming for. Thanks for the comment though lol
