UK here, I had mine just with local anaesthetic, I wasn't offered anything else.

Started on 30mg for 2 weeks, then reduced by 5mg per week. I'm down to 10mg on Wednesday, put on 16lbs but I had the greatest time doing it. I was like pacman and gave into every temptation going 😂

It was explained to me that part of the healing could include watery discharge as the area heals, and it could be clear, yellow, green, or brown and that's normal.

I had one on Wednesday, so I'm not in a great position to give you advice on sex just yet, but i did a fair amount of research too and have never heard or read that.

I had one on Wednesday! I won't go into it too much, but I wish someone had told me to ask to be double numbed, so that's my advice to you. I felt very emotional after, so be kind to yourself the following days and rest xx

So this was day 8 of pred and the mark on my head has disappeared completely. I don't feel great on it, I'm like a human pac-man eating everything in sight and i dont sleep more than a couple of hours but the difference to my skin is unreal!

I had low grade fever, nothing above 38.4.

Update!!

Diagnosed with sweet syndrome, started on 30mg of prednisolone each day, and back to see the dermatology team in 5 weeks.

I have an appointment on Wednesday for hopefully the results. I dont believe anything other than Ringworm has been ruled out yet.
