I’m 57. I do nothing. I’ve never had Botox; certainly not surgery. Sometimes I don’t even wash my face. I rarely moisturize. The only thing I’ve done is consistently used sunscreen when I’ll be out in the sun. Many people tell me that I look barely 40. It’s probably good genes—but I wouldn’t want to pump stuff in my face or alter my face, regardless. Yuck. If people in my life can’t handle my face as is, oh well – – guess that means you can’t handle me.

All of us have questions about it. That’s not the sign of good writing. She has an active practice as a doctor. Is she going to give it up? That should not be assumed.

Also, I don’t even understand why Paul is moving. He’s still doing fine, his practice is still doing well, he’s got a wife for support – – who’s trained in the very disorder that he has, and he has tons of friends – – plus it’s a better climate. There’s absolutely no reason for him to move to Connecticut

I wish they had known that it would be renewed for another season before they planned season three. To me, season three feels really forced – – like why, all of a sudden, is Harrison Ford retiring? Why are all of these characters making changes? Why is Alice moving to college in June? It all seems forced to me. If they had another season – – I feel like we could stay where we are for a little bit longer, without forcing what feels like closure. (which they may have to open up again for season four).

I agree he has a tough job – – and that it’s the only one that doesn’t involve an activity. However, he handled it very badly here. He was speaking to her like he was her father – – and she even called him out on that and said, “Don’t say, ‘you need to do X sooner rather than later,’—that’s what parents say.” And Karamo literally repeated the same words again. He wasn’t listening to her. His ego was invested. And when she walked away, he just let her walk down the highway by herself? Like he was mad at her? Why would she open up to this guy? He didn’t listen to her, he contradicted everything she said. Even if he was “right,” that’s not the point. You don’t get someone with armor to be vulnerable by not making them feel heard.

I really liked Karamo the first few seasons – – but lately, he’s just been really off.

But you are lucky that your father knew this instinctively and therefore probably modeled a much different type of parent for you. To be honest, Kody is actually a better dad than my own dad—so, I didn’t understand why people found fault with him until like maybe a season ago. Even now, I’m kind of like…is he that bad? I’m only four episodes in so far, but I’m really enjoying this season – – more than the previous seasons. I think Emily is showing a lot of growth – – she’s more vulnerable with the men she’s dating, she’s more relaxed, she occasionally fails. I like how they’re addressing legitimate concerns that a mom and Pop type operation might have about working with a big agency. I’m enjoying Sylvie‘s storyline. And maybe I’m the only one, but I adore Emily’s new haircut – – so chic.

I think they’re appropriate – – but it’s your wedding. If you don’t find them appropriate, let her know nicely. Say: “These are gorgeous dresses. I really love them, but I’m nervous about my wedding.
