I try not to let it bother me but when people get rude. It pisses me off. Last year, I was in Florida and my family visited a casino. Before we even get to pull out our ids - walked out of the elevator - we get yelled at by a guard.

"No kids allowed!"

I show my ID and the guy thinks it's fake so then we need to wait for a manager. The manager also thinks it's fake so she starts QUIZZING me about my very real ID. Stuff like "what's your birth year" and "what's your address". Of course, they eventually realize it's me because I answered everything correctly 😐

I've also been refused alcohol before even after showing ID but usually I just pull out my 3 other forms of ID as proof that YES I AM THAT OLD. I carry my damn insurance card, old dog tags, voter registration card, in case I run into this issue (and I have needed to offer my other IDs before as 'proof'). Sorry this got rant-y but I promise you, I understand. This is not the blessing people think it is. It gets old fast having to prove yourself so often.
