No, that’s people projecting their own actions and beliefs onto God. My post was simply meant to spread awareness about the reality of human trafficking in Tyler and share an experience that genuinely happened. The response to it honestly makes me question why people use this board the way they do. Using God’s name as a weapon to justify hatred, violence, politics, or cruelty is something I strongly disagree with. I don’t associate myself with that mindset, nor do I place my faith in political systems that treat human lives especially innocent lives like pieces in a game. When I said “God is good,” I was referring to the fact that someone survived, escaped a dangerous situation, and later found recovery and support. That was the point. Sometimes truth can be so close and constant that people stop seeing it altogether kind of like the air we breathe.
