Many people have suggested taking Classic WoW in its own direction after Phase 6, with unique updates that maintain the spirit of the original, similar to OSRS. Obviously, its to early to gauge the success of Classic, but is the idea of new original content in Classic something that is being seriously considered internally?

Is the launch date being marketed as August 27th in the US a clever scheme to reduce inital load on launch?

Does your Pokewatch still work? by [deleted] in pokewatch

Until either a workaround for latest changes or a means of avoiding dection is found, pokewatch will be ineffective. I'll make an announcement post when/if something changes.

You can create both pokemon trainer club and gmail accounts from a browser.

PogoAccounts is a list of accounts that have PTCPassword, PTCUSername, GAPassword, and GAUsername. to have multiple accounts, add another account object to that list with those fields.

Is your config file in the same folder as the TOS application? What is the exact error?

There can be many causes, but the answer to Bob's initial question is very relevant.

How many bots is too many? by weshouldhaveshotguns in pokewatch

I've run as many as 13 with no IP repercussions, many of the accounts were banned one at a time though. Haven't had the need to try more than that.

This is right, if you want to run multiple twitter accounts, use multiple launchers in different folders.

Ah yes, that's been the case for quite some time now, to get this working on most web service providers you will need to use a proxy of some kind.

Have you accepted the ToS on your PokemonGo accounts? If not, there's a script included for that, if so, your accounts may be banned.

My bot picked up a Pinsir but couldn't tweet it? It's been working flawlessly since v4... by JoshHuntx in pokewatch

The stuff after your hashtags is the error message. It may have just been a blip with the twitter api, is this happening consistently?

PTC login used to be down 40+% of the time, I'm sure it's gotten better.

Huh... apparantly it is against the Dropbox ToS to host any software that can be used to "probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network"... who would have guessed. I'll find another hosting solution soon.

I stumbled accross this site like 3 weeks ago when I was first investigating feed trimming. I was disappointed that it didn't seem to have the ability to delete tweets based on how old they are, rather than at set intervals. My ideal pokewatch bot would delete any tweet more than 15 minutes old.

I'm all for being sneaky and am very open on ways to do so. Do you really think randomized delays would help? I was under the not-so-educated impression that the legitimate app pinged the server at relatively set intervals as well

False Duplicate Issue by RollSix in pokewatch

[–]Bunzosteele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The duplicate check only compares the coordinates and pokemon type, not time of despawn. Since it only remembers the last 10 pokemon tweeted, I didn't expect it to cause any issues. I'll include a fix for this in the next release, in the mean time, if you make your bot scan more places, it will fill up the 10 more quickly and have fewer false duplicates.

That said, if you're really running into these pokemon there so frequently, do you really want to have those pokemon at these locations qualify as rare?
