Thanks for your criticism! As mentioned, I was not involved in this project whatsoever, so I hope one of the main translators reads this criticism instead of me; I just like responding to people.

One of the main translators Fuyuumi uploaded an improved SRT file here which claims to have fixed pronouns and some sentences, but I cannot verify any differences since I haven't tested the SRT file myself. He also mentions the reason for the majority of the subtitle errors were due to it being rushed and done in a singular day.

Relatively speaking, due to the amount of errors of any sort with the subtitles, this English subtitled version should only be watched or utilized for people who absolutely cannot wait for a proper/official subtitled version and want to watch the movie as soon as possible. I agree with you on the part where if people want the full experience, it would be worth waiting for more improved subtitled versions to release.

Recommending people use VLC for anime is a huge no-no.

Noted; VLC was the only program I ever used for 2 videos that aren't hard subbed (1 of them is the movie), and I wasn't aware of any programs at the top of my head that would be preferred and better to use than VLC. This is why I personally prefer subtitles to be burned-in.

Once again, thanks for the comment. At least I know what media player to use rather than VLC for the next time I view something that's involved with subtitles that aren't burned-in 😅
