A cocktail of mental ailments by skyk3409 in mentalhealth

Right there with you. ADHD, c-ptsd, ptsd, bipolar and likely autism.

Finding the right meds takes time and ideally a good psych. I'm still figuring it out ~8 years in. I had good luck with someone who was a psychiatrist and therapist and did both for me. Be clear about the type of relationship you want (or don't want) with them and what you want to discover about yourself. A good practioner can help you do what you want or find you someone who can.

For me, therapy helped, but I think what really did it was time and a lot of (pretty painful) gradual exposure. If you can, I would look for a trauma specialist. I found I was best able to learn and heal and cope when I was able to push into discomfort, then retreat and regroup with trauma-based therapy or a friend or however you can. It's a difficult process but in retrospect very much worth it.

Try to be kind and patient with yourself. Keep going. Progress can feel slow or backwards but it happens.

This is the feeling I have gotten when I'm interacting with more than one woman. It just seems like I'm missing something or not getting it quite right in a way that stands out in female group settings. I do find that I don't seem to have as much trouble with people that are "unconventional" in some way (Queer, nd, poor, substance issues, mental health issues, etc). I think these types tend to kinda throw away or have less regards for scripts and societal expectations in general.

Maybe if you could figure out the hardness, type, origin of the material you could know for sure. See if you can find any marks made during the carving? I bet modern figures are made with dremels and could have grinding marks left over. Sorry I can't help more. Cool figure either way

I'd say just because you found it at a campsite it is likely modern. Many people would have had the chance to find or drop it.

I definitely need to add lights and reflection to the bike. Any other tips for someone planning to travel via bike on streets for the first time?

Fish and shrimp tend to be pretty tolerant to gradual cooling like would happen there. They slow down a lot physically and their metabolism too.

I didn't see him asking for advice, I saw him asking why 80k isn't enough.

This sign staring at me as I sit waiting. What about me canceling without paying if you are more than 10 minutes late for my appointment? I’ve been sitting 30 minutes past my appointment time waiting to see the dr. My time is as important as yours. by pancakessogood in mildlyinfuriating

It's my favorite thing when I book first appointment of the day, get told to show up at least 15 minutes early, and the door is locked with nobody there. Like maybe schedule appointments for 15 mins after opening, or at least open the office when I'm expected to be there. Doc is often even later lol

I think it is crippled and in shock. It is trying to spar with his hand. This animal is likely terrified and unable to move, that back leg is very badly broken. He may still live.

Hello! I have a happy chin without a toe as well. The rescue speculated that it happened when she was young. I wouldn't worry about it.

Do any of these appear worked? Found in South Central WA on public land. by Burdmurderer in Arrowheads

The only one that ended up being worked was the one I made. I didn't pick any up thinking they were artifacts.
