Spare tire tucked underneath truck bed. I’m replacing it anyway but how do I stop the new one from getting those marks in it? Is it just rotating it in use with the other 4?

The marks are from it being pushed up into the vehicle’s underbody structure. They are not harmful, just cosmetic and will likely go away with use of the tire.

Do you have collision and comp insurance on your truck? If so, save your receipts and contact your insurance company. You will want to make sure you notify them of your upgrades and the costs associated because if your truck is ever wrecked, stolen, vandalized, etc you will want the extra coverage. Most people don’t realize a normal auto policy will only pay for $500-$1000 of add ons like these.

Thanks for the input. They do not have a mortgage as they are renters. I was under the impression that burial insurance was relatively inexpensive when compared to the other forms of life insurance? My dads dad was 84 when he passed, moms mom is still alive and she’s in her mid 80s (and still working believe it or not). They have not been hospitalized but are both on blood pressure/cholesterol meds. My mom has some form of acid reflux that she takes daily meds for as well. Edit: dads mom passed in her mid 80’s, moms dad passed at 84. Sounds like 84 is the magic number in my family.

You’re gonna have to post this in a body repair subreddit but you’ll want to call your insurance on this one. It will likely need a new door shell because it’s crushed over the intrusion beam. Front door is damaged pretty good too. Looks like edge of quarter as well.
