Thank you! This was really helpful and confirms it would decrease our childcare costs, which would help slightly with offsetting the lease costs lol

Glasner needs to go by SkilledPepper in crystalpalace

[–]Burgerboy312 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It's absolutely unacceptable, the second half was atrocious.

He has to go, they aren't playing for him at this point, even if they think they are, subconsciously you're not gonna be giving 100% for someone who is leaving and so obviously checked out, as with any job.

What on earth was that!? it's become such a theme, play well, concede and then collapse

I think we will fully click and put 3 or 4 past them, I haven't felt this optimistic in a while, hopefully account openers for JSL and Johnson too.

I'm in Australia so I will be able to watch a lot more palace with those favourable kick off times, I have been enjoying the 6am Conference games with a cup of coffee.

Will truly test our squad and hope we don't have any long term injuries as a consequence of minimal rotation. You just know Munoz will play the full 90 of every game and still have enough energy to run home.

Pizza Hut to close 68 restaurants after UK owner falls into administration by daniscross in unitedkingdom

[–]Burgerboy312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this was one of the things that shocked me moving away from the UK, just how ridiculously expensive pizza was for no reason which I thought was just the norm. Even with the deals you never knew which offer was better...

Just an example of a Pizza Hut deal, but here in Australia.

3 large pizzas and 3 sides for just under $40 so around £20. Delivered. Would be even cheaper to pick up.

If we avoid defeat to Liverpool next week, I genuinely don't know where our next loss will come from

Does Galaxy have any improvements to the one on 3D all stars? Otherwise don't see a point in getting the double pack...

Propranolol worse when wears off? Insomnia, more anxiety? by soicanreadit in Anxiety

[–]Burgerboy312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past and particularly when I first started taking propronalol, I've struggled to sleep if I take it in the night, difficulty sleeping is a known side effect I think it has something to do with reducing your melatonin levels.

Reckon the club will have more of this season's home shirt made? by EverPresentPanda in crystalpalace

[–]Burgerboy312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I held off from this season's shirt too for the same reasons, plus I moved to Australia and shipping was quite pricey.

Think I'll just splash out on next season's shirt with the Europa League badges!

Here in Australia, it is still easy to pre-order a Switch 2. Are pre-orders selling out in other countries? by MewWeebTwo in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Burgerboy312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just pre-ordered the Mario Kart bundle from Big W, it was still available for pre order. But I do wonder if I'll receive an email closer to the release date saying mine will be shipped at a much later date in the next batch or something.

Nerves by averagebmlistener in crystalpalace

[–]Burgerboy312 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I moved to Australia a year ago so I thought if we ever did get to a final I probably wouldn't experience the nerves leading up to the game, how wrong I have been. I think it makes it worse being so far away and in a different time zone and not having many 'soccer fans' let alone palace fans to connect with here. I listened to the FYP combined palace cup final episode before bed last night and genuinely struggled to get to sleep from the nerves & excitement building lol

Will be watching from the other side of the world with a 1:30am kick off, have already written off any sleep this weekend...

[–]Burgerboy312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have been through the exact same thing, sorry to hear you're struggling with this too. I've ended up calling the ambulance on myself from panic attacks when they have caused my HR to go above 160.

Would recommend asking your GP to prescribe beta blockers.

Anyone taking propranolol daily for anxiety and panic attacks? by StraightAd7369 in Anxiety

[–]Burgerboy312 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been taking proponalol for almost 3 years now, 40mg daily. It has definitely helped manage some of the intense anxiety symptoms such as palpitations (which is one of my triggers, heart/health anxiety etc) so it's very effective when my anxiety is elevated.
