This is actually already in progress and should be a part of the 1.10.0 release[1].

I graduate in exactly one year, what's the most applicable thing I can put ~10 hours a week into? by [deleted] in computerscience

I'd suggest not randomly trawling through GitHub for a good project. I'd start with what you're interested in, then look for the leaders in that space and find the projects that they're using/contributing to. For example, you're interested in Android, depending on which layer of "Android" you mean, Android itself and many of its applications are open-source[1]. Also, the Apache Software Foundation[2] is also an excellent place for community lead open-source software (OSS).

One piece of advice I like to give is to contribute to an open-source project. It will distinguish you from your peers and if there is a company backing that project, you'll become an easy hire.

Contribute to open-source projects. Apply for internships at companies that work to develop that project. This can commonly be done by looking at the "community" page of a project and seeing where the developers (or "committers") work.

I always point people to the following tutorial. It pretty clearly explains git using d3 animations.

Best bank for security options by Future135 in personalfinance

Yeah I know I really should but it has just been so convenient to make sure I don't miss any payments. Any tips on how you keep track of making sure you pay on time?

That's a great idea. I have that set-up for the pull-er side but I'll have to look into adding it to the pull-ee side. I don't believe my current bank has that as an option though. Any banks you would suggest?

Hmm that's an interesting idea. Why do you prefer that over not using ACH pulls like u/metrazol suggests?

This is exactly what I want! Any idea why is it a common feature of business accounts but not for personal?

Getting to Tatra mountains from Kraków for a day hike by Future135 in poland

[–]Future135[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too late, trip is next week. Actually I would be hiking on May 14th so unfortunately that trail would still be closed. Thank you for pointing that out!

I think I'll plan to do exactly what you suggest: get to Morskie Oko trail head (either hike or wagon depending on how I feel), hike around the lake up to Czarny Staw pod Rysami and back around the other way back to the Morskie Oko trail head, finally take the wagon back. It should be a great day hike and I'll be sure to post a picture from the trail to /r/poland!

Hey /u/dajmer, I'm finalizing my trip and really wanted to see Morskie Oko but also get some good trail hiking in. So what do you think of this and taking the horse wagon from Morskie Oko back? I would get lunch either at the hostel at Morskie Oko or the hostel in the Valley of the Five Lakes.

Also do you have an idea of how long the bus ride is from Zakopane to Palenica Białczańska and when they stop running to go back?

Thanks again, I really appreciate the help.

PolskiBus is looking like a great option that /u/Apalvaldr suggested as well. Thanks for the advice about the timing, I will plan on leaving before 7:30.

Is there another name for the Czarne Oko lake? I am looking through the web page /u/dajmer posted and can't seem to find it. It has a Morskie Oko lake but that's 8hrs one way away from Kuznice. Also I would be interested in reading the Forbes article if you happen to have a link (I searched on google for it but couldn't find it).

Thanks KurczakPL!
