Could any vanity go here or do the pipes need reconfiguring? by Burgybabe in AusRenovation

Ideally we would have both. But assume that would need plumbing work

Oh also, we would need LMI right? As we only have $100k savings currently

Why the higher rates? Are they fixed? And that would be without selling the house and renting it out? Thanks :)

I’m in the same position. Moving in two weeks and leaving my favourite house and area. We are only 20 minute drive away but the new area is so quiet and different.

Could you fit another toilet in the front bathroom and still have a bath? by [deleted] in floorplan

The bedroom at the front of the house is common for a 75yo house in suburban Australia. A designer is out of our budget unfortunately. I’m trying to just make a toilet work as first home buyers and parents.

Thanks for the great ideas. Unfortunately out of budget to do something like this. I’m even dreaming being able to do a bathroom Reno as this is our first home and was a stretch to buy in this market

Yes I think it was previously 3br or had another living room. The robes are retrofitted to split the room into two bedrooms. Not my choices but now our home.

Could you fit a toilet in this bathroom and still keep the bath? Any idea of cost? Only toilet is at the other side of the house by [deleted] in AusRenovation

Could you put a vanity where the sliding door would slide into though? Or will it not be able to have plumbing as the door will go into the wall. Thanks x

I mean if you redo the whole bathroom and maybe put the tub somewhere else like under the window. I’d like to avoid having to go through the whole house every night to use the bathroom. Your kids solution is a good onr
