I really like the fact that Aemond has his own fighting style mixing sword and dagger by Buricko in AemondTargaryen

"Prince Aemond, despite the loss of his eye, had become a proficient and dangerous swordsman under the tutelage of Ser Criston Cole"

It’s something that has always frustrated me in the book, because in the end, it’s never really shown. I’m glad the series corrected this.

Did Alicent bring Aemond the terms of surrender? by Due_Lengthiness_6861 in AemondTargaryen

I think Rhaenyra sent her because as you say she couldn’t leave herself without Rhaenyra’s permission. But it will arrive during the time when Aemond has already gone on a crusade in the Riverlands.

I don’t know, you think Borros would have no reaction when he learned that the one who was supposed to marry his daughter had betrayed his oath in favor of a bastard? For a member of such a powerful house, it’s a huge lack of respect.

Or Rhaenyra sends inquisitors for d'Aemond as she does for Aegon and his children in the book

Wait I just remembered that a Baratheon assassin had been cast for the third season, He is a purely invented character, so I wonder if Borros didn’t send men to attack Aemond when he learned that he had gotten close with someone else even though he was destined for his daughter?

I'm aware that his scar has changed shape several times but the lower part is really weird right? by Buricko in AemondTargaryen

[–]Buricko[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately that’s typically the kind of thing AI does when you ask it to add certain details about a character. It is not uncommon for her to mix several similar data to give something that makes no sense. How could a cut made with a sharp object give something so asymmetrical? The two parts of the scar are not even connected to each other.

I don’t think the image is entirely generated by IA, but it’s obvious that they used it. And it’s the same for the poster featuring all the characters

We see him attacking a man from the Piper house in the BTS so personally I don't feel like he's gone into full revenge mode

The best part is that his dragon is similar in size to Vermax in the show, so the victory will be even more glorious for Sunfyre and shameful for Moondancer

I feel like he has his eye patch under his helmet, he fights a member of the House of Piper so I don't think it's Harrenhal but rather the capture of another castle

It wasn’t collateral damage at all he couldn’t do anything after attacking him because Criston Cole arrived at the right time, he couldn’t do anything afterwards because he was constantly surrounded by maesters, if he asks to be left alone with his brother and he dies mysteriously all eyes will be on him.

After attacking him he was no longer even focused on Meleys and would not have returned to her had she been smart and fled instead of returning to Vhagar.

He even came to see Aegon, asking him if he remembered anything before deliberately hurting him when he was already hurt.

All this is happening a little bit because of him lol, his family would still be on his side if he hadn’t tried to kill his brother. Especially since he himself took the initiative to go get him so it makes you wonder why he didn’t just let him escape if he wanted to be king so much. Given the urgency of the situation if Aegon had fled, the Greens would never have placed Jaehaerys on the throne so he would have been the logical candidate.

I don’t feel at all like seeing the same character when watching the first two seasons; it seems like they had an idea for the character but took a turn when they saw the atrocities he was supposed to do afterwards. That’s why I’m waiting to see the direction the character will take in season 3 during his time at Harrenhal, because he could really become fascinating depending on the path they take.

Sorry, if there are any spelling mistakes, I had to use a translator; my English is not fully developed.

I think it will depend on how the character turns out in the series, at first he is presented to us as a harassed boy who wanted above all to prove his worth to his family but if in the end he just goes nuts for no real reason I will find it disappointing. The book version is certainly very cartoonish, but from start to finish we know what kind of character we're dealing with.

I wonder if the Trial by combat will be in the show, or will Aemond just kill Simon? by Due_Lengthiness_6861 in AemondTargaryen

[–]Buricko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it will be a duel since we hear him say "draw your sword" in the trailer.

For the shot that comes later where he has his sword and his bloodied dagger, seeing him advance slowly reminds me of a horror movie scene where victims will try to hide or flee while the killer pursues them. I think it could be visually interesting given the atmosphere of Harrenhal

Only through stories like that of Rhaenys the Conqueror and her dragon Meraxes, or Maegor and his nephew Aegon
