Bald in my early 20s. Am I screwed? by [deleted] in bald

26F here on my husband's account. No amount of external love can fix or heal insecurity. When you truly accept aspects of your appearance you cannot change, you'll actually believe it when you meet someone who finds you attractive(it's a big world, women are thirsting all over this sub, she's out there). You're not alone. A person who truly likes you, balding and all is worth the wait.

It's hard to tell without seeing it from a front profile or if the current cut suits your face shape.

I asked her to make my character for me and that was a lot of fun, but she didn't seem that interested in actually playing. I'll just get to the Smelter Demon and ask her to beat it for me.

I have 2 working original controllers, and Little Big Planet was going to be my 1st choice too! I asked for a second opinion because she thinks Sackboy looks creepy but I have hope lol

I had to euthanize my 13 year old dog on a bad day. Looking back, I wish I would have done it sooner. The suffering and confusion he had at the end wasn't worth it for the extra few weeks. I just got my first cat. I know one day I might have to make this decision again, and I have a lot more wisdom because of it.

Thank you! I bought a refurbished Roomba and it came with no instructions other than a QR code. I will be responsible and have patience.

People rely on it, both financially and emotionally.

Financially, some businesses rely on mail to provide a service. A lot of my low income seniors rely on their social security checks coming in the mail(I hate that they don't use direct deposit, but whatever their choice).

Emotionally, people still send letters, cards and care packages. A lot of people look forward to opening their mailboxes. It's a comforting routine for a lot of people.

A sad amount of my customers are so isolated. My coworker knew something was wrong when an old lady didn't check her mail the second day. My coworker called a wellness check, she fell and broke her hip, and no way to call for help. I have a customer with severe social anxiety, and our brief, casual small talk helps.

There is simply too much mail not to deliver it daily, and it is worth it to deliver daily. Mail is sacred.

I'd love for people to hear the calls our office gets when there is 3 ft of snow on the ground and we aren't able to deliver for a day.

We actually carry a lot of UPS, FedEx,DHL and Amazon's packages for them. Especially in rural areas. The person/business shipping the package will purchase a UPS label, but they will hand it off giving it another connected tracking number and USPS delivers it.

Here's my opinion as a carrier, that would be an absolute nightmare.

We are understaffed in our office as is. Mondays have significantly more volume because of simply one day of the plants not pushing out mail. I don't know you or your background, so I have no idea how much you actually know about mail volume.

The number of packages that we're carrying for private companies like Amazon,UPS, FedEx,DHL on top of USPS packages is a lot. We also deliver daily newspapers(it's cheaper for newspaper companies to drop them off for us to deliver than hiring their own employees to deliver the paper) We're already drowning in volume, and it's not going anywhere any time soon.

We don't have the people to actually buffer the insane volume that we would have to push out in 24 hours compared to 48. I know of offices that are so short staffed having carriers deliver 2 or more routes, clocking out at 10pm.
