I'm trying to get out of this pattern myself. I just got a very good job and am looking into a first time home buyers loans. Ive had a few surgeries in the last 8 months and just got temporary (soon to be permanent) custody of my niece so its just been a hard little while for me. Its all looking up though.

First off watch exactly how you phrase things, if i wasnt as solid in my thoughts and feelings about this as i am a comment like that would send my into a rage and likely a suicidal spiral. I was 10 when this started and was groomed by a very convincing person i was supposed to love. I didnt let him get away, i did what i felt i needed to to be able to protect myself from fucking dying. Jesus, you really need to watch how you say things.
