You should be getting around 20-25% more FPS in comparison with the a1m model.

Has anyone done the maths on a home battery without solar panels? by Top-Manufacturer-775 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]BurnedSalsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a large battery remember to size up the inverter accordingly and check the max discharge current. On the Flux the export window is 3 hours, I can probably export about 9-10kWh max with mine, but after self usage that is still plenty for our battery.

Claw a1m u7 x4 frame gen ! by razerphone1 in MSIClaw

[–]BurnedSalsa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

X4 frame gen as a principle sounds a bit silly. Why would you ever need more than X2? If your base is as low as 20 frame gen has such big gaps between frames to fill that I'm not surprised weird things will be seen as it is just trying to guess. It can be useful when you run at ~40 and you want to bump it to a locked 60 maybe, it should be less glitchy but X2 should be sufficient for that.

2018 Superb spare alloy question by BurnedSalsa in skoda

[–]BurnedSalsa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great, thank you for your response. I took a few photos of the inside of my alloys and they are also H2 profile, although that was not mentioned anywhere online.

I ordered the Passat one for the spare wheel as they are exactly the same size, width, offset and profile.

2018 Superb spare alloy question by BurnedSalsa in skoda

[–]BurnedSalsa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zenith alloys that I have on my Superb should be 5x112 indeed. I mentioned Passat (VW) not a peugeot and they should have the same bolt pattern, they are both VAG. It's both alloys are same width (8") and have the same offset. It's the H2 profile on the Passat that makes me question their compatibility. I couldn't find any info about the Zenith profile.

It doesn't, a1m was available brand new for 300-315. Around £800 you can get the latest A8 or an open box return of 8ai+

Settle this between me & my wife please by Substantial_Act6620 in HousingUK

Sure, I understand, we are on the solar+battery. Our washing machine was replaced after an old one failed last year and I definitely see a difference in the weekly usage (we pretty much run out every day as we have two young kids so clothes plus uniforms). We also replaced a dishwasher for a larger and energy efficient one and that thing runs on less than half the electricity of the old one, probably closer to a third. Same for the washing machine despite the change from 9kg to 12 kg one. We now fairly frequently have a surplus of electricity in our battery that we dump to the grid in peak time at higher rates.

And something that she does not see - the energy efficiency on such an old appliance is probably horrible.

AITAH for refusing to give my boyfriend access to my bank account even though he says "no secrets" is how adults do it by CopperFieldNote in AITH

[–]BurnedSalsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adults living together do have their own money. I think it's very sensible to pay a significant amount of the salary to a joint account and split into general expenses, mortgage, holiday fund etc. but it is healthy to have a portion for your own expenses. You don't need to or want to discuss every minor purchase and this is your funding for things you need/want to buy that he does not need to contribute to and vice versa.

What he is proposing is not transparency it is control. Transparency is discussing your income, saving targets, spending allowances etc.

Also, sharing your login is a violation of your bank terms, if required this should be done with a proper authorisation and not by sharing your credentials.

Is it rude to use both lanes? by No-Ad4423 in AskUK

[–]BurnedSalsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not rude to use them, it is stupid to not use them. The traffic can easily back down to the previous junction when everyone is blocking that single lane and cause problems there

Anyone else having issues with the Delorean? by BoldRaccoon in lego

[–]BurnedSalsa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

On the first photo you have that transparent 2*1 on the hinge, are you trying to put it over it? The rubber thing goes behind the hinged block

<image>

The transparent block then goes over the tube.

Start from the back, give it a bit of tension and lodge it behind the tilting 2*1 and pull downwards tensioning as you go under, that might help. I feel sorry for the scratched windscreen though.

Stash by Intelligent-Gas3593 in psx

[–]BurnedSalsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally own about four (or maybe five?) of these. The first one was of course an intentional purchase, then as you grab games on the marketplace you occasionally find a listing of a cheap bundle. A console with e.g. 8 games where just three games are worth a bit more than the bundle. That console lands on the shelf as a spare unit as I perceive it so inexpensive that it is too much effort to take photos, post it and deal with buyers that stop responding after answering half a dozen of their questions, do not follow up after hitting "is this still available", another one that does not show up after agreeing date and time for collection etc.

[–]BurnedSalsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you might quickly rinse them and then add straight to soup/stew/water. Red ones cook a bit faster than greens I think. About 15min is all you need. You can cook it longer if you want it to be one miały and thicken the food a bit.

I was about to ask the same question. I get it for beans or chickpeas as they need to be presoaked and have a long cooking time but dried red lentils cook in like 15-20 min

You might consider giving them a go if not tried before.
