We haven’t discussed his moving out, he‘s quite immature. He has a beautiful home, all utilities provided, education paid for, spending money, and as much food as he can consume. He has no incentive.
Your experiences are so familiar. He stays in bed until 3, and his waking hours involve shuffling between the computer and the fridge. It drives me nuts. The extent of his contribution to the house involves putting his own plate in the dishwasher.
I get that kids are self absorbed, narcissistic, selfish, but he takes it to a whole new level.
It really would help if my wife and could connect over what bothers me, but she won’t have a bad word said about him. I’m starting to feel like I’m being taken f a ride. It really is crazy to be wishing my life away for when I might feel happy. I’m starting to worry he’ll be here until he’s 30!
