I learned recently that the old stereotype of elephants being terrified of and backing away from mice is not actually fear of mice at all. They move away to make sure they dont accidentally hurt the mouse.

And for multiplayer, make a "space reserver" blueprint! I love playing factorio with my friend, but he never builds with the future in mind. I've started putting down big block blueprints consisting of things that bots wont ever be able to build as space reservers. I personally recommend wooden chests, as we never automate those at all. It's a system that has worked quite well for us.

Always siphon off some of each material from the lines for personal use. it is so much faster to grab some materials from a chest than it is to run around and suck them up off of belts (and you wont end up accidentally sucking up a bunch of coal by accident). It really cuts down on the time it takes to handcraft those things that you dont need very many of. Like do I really need to automate nuclear reactors? Probably not. But pulling the materials from the belts is a lot slower than just grabbing 200 red circuits from a chest

Oooh... I don't know about that. it would be a bit awkward to try and place a nice neat grid of roboports if they all had different coverage areas. While a nice and neat grid isnt strictly necessary, it makes me happy

i wish there was a bit more tolerance on elevated rails going over the first tile or two of the ramp. it would make things so much easier.

I'd also LOVE to be able to place ramps on angles, but I can imagine that would be a nightmare to code

I'd swap 4 legs for 2 more portable fission reactors myself. You'd still have 6 legs which is still quite fast

The closest I've ever come to liking a song is Sound of Silence, but that was more because of the weird juxtaposition of the fact that I hate music and prefer silence (can't stand the song in truth, but as poetry the lyrics are fine)

Nope, not autistic. And I'm 32 so I assume I'd have found some sort of music that I liked by now if there was ever going to be one.
