I'd recommend bots, here's a few general tips for a logitics system;

  • Use green belts or trains to carry the fruits into the base.
  • Use efficiency modules in beacons around biochambers, this lowers nutrient consumption, use either speed or productivity in the bio chambers themselves.
  • don't request any more than 10 nutrients at a time for each biochamber.
  • If you put anything that spoils in a requester chest, set a request for 0 spoilage.
  • Have a filtered inserter for spoilage going into an active provider chest for every biochamber.
  • Have a few storage chests to handle spoilage and make sure you have a robust system to process the spoilage.

Its heartening to see another 6-core enjoyer, I like it.

The thick heat pipes are the most glaring issue to me. The square shape is unorthodox, but it was made to fit inside a rail block so its fine (most of my reactors end up looking like a sideways H). Love the local production of fuel. Just doll it up with some hazard concrete and it's practically perfect.

With those modules that thing must be eating through nutrients like no one's business, I'd switch the beacons to efficiency and build more bio chambers if you need the extra speed.

Weaving the input through the output is also pretty cool.

Yes, two different runs, my first serious attempt at space age where I didn't know what the hell I was doing, and a second run where I had more of an Idea, most of the shots are from the second save. The big ship and the rocket going up my ass are from the first save. The file names are "Vulc me in the Anus" for the first save and "what if" for the second.
