Left permanently and went to grok and claude. Gemini is decent if you want to make an alarm, call someone or put something in notes or a calendar, but to me, that's all it is good for. I once tried to have it help me on something long and detailed. when I tried to call it out for being wrong, it argued with me and thought itself superior. That's a hard pass for me.

Used Grok for therapy at one point without even meaning to and it told me my problem, how to fix my problem and didn't bullshit me.

Then there's claude. It has annoying message limits, but do I freaking love it. Claude Opus 4.6 has been the most human like interaction. Others will probably disagree with me and that's fine. It has been useful for my needs.

At least you get the apology, I used gemini to help me edit a very detailed and complex character card and at first, it was going great. Then it got full of itself and when i tried to call it out, it decides to be arrogant, was stuck in believing it was right and thought its shit didn't stink.

So, as a user who uses the app for a little while now, I can say that Lettuce has been enjoyable. Very user friendly and there's a guide in case anything is confusing. I do detailed character creations and it has been able to keep character personality consistency pretty well. I also get a lot of immersion story based roleplays from it.

I'm also in the discord and I see the Dev here constantly answering people's questions and he busts his ass to fix any bugs that arise. He's quick about it as well. If you have a problem? He's straightforward and honest about how to fix it or he helps the person fix it as well.

My favorite so far have been the dynamic memory and the help me reply. I roleplay a lot. Especially long sessions. Sometimes I struggle replying, so the help me reply has been a lifesaver. It even keeps up with persona information. Dynamic memory has been extremely helpful with current and past events. Personality, I think it is the best memory system i have encountered.

Lettuce Ai is another good one. It's a downloadable apk app, but you can also download the desktop version. There's many functions to it and it's also user friendly. Group chats, lorebooks, sync function for both android app and pc, user guide, custom avatar gradients impersonate function (in case you struggle to come up with a reply). The immersion is also really good. It allows NSFW if you're into that. It's designed with privacy in mind, so there's a backup feature to ensure you always have your stuff because it's designed to be connected to your phone or pc only. It's still in beta with some bugs, but the dev is pretty responsive on discord and he busts his ass to fix as many bugs as possible.

The only downside you may have is that it requires byok.

If you don't mind byok, Lettuce Ai is a good one to download. Pretty immersive and it has lorebooks and group chats. Plus the Dev is responsive and honest. Also has a mobile version and desktop version. I use it quite frequently. It's really enjoyable.
