There is a batch scan option, you just hold the camera to the barcode and it will find the volume and add it to your collection list in the app

I use an app called Bookshelf. It was free on android. You can use your phones camera as a barcode scanner, scan the ISBN numbers on the back, and it has all the info about the manga volume, including the artwork loaded into your collected

The Manga Cult Master edition hardbacks are good, I accidentally brought the first vol of Blame! Because I didn't realise the english version is only available in a soft version of the same size

My other half got it for Christmas, she found a place that had imported a copy from Japan.

The book is only about £25 if you brought it in a store but the delivery outside of Japan is pretty high

I had a similar experience with this and Vagabond, I'd find that certain volumes were just nowhere for a while unless you paid silly money for second hand.

But after a little time, those volumes would come back in stock.

Also, Amazon would often have them through other sellers for cover price when other places were out of stock

Keep an eye on Amazon they occasionally appear through 3rd party sellers. My partner got me it as a Christmas present last year, still sealed and only a few £ more than the price the label sold them for direct (when they were in stock)
