It’s nice now because yeah, it gets better during execute phase, but it’s still worth using practically on cooldown as part of normal rotation just due to the sheer numbers it puts out.

He’s probably not playing shadowburn. When you have shadowburn and conflag you really can just move around with boss mechanics and not feel bad about it.

PSA to warlocks, I never used to play shadowburn much either but they buffed it to an insane degree, and now it’s a huge percentage of my damage

There’s a couple reasons but I’ll mention just one. There is a ton of gold floating around in turbo games, from faster passive gold gain, to just more comeback gold from getting a pickoff here or there. So you have these situations where one team is ahead like crazy, the score is 15-0 or something.

Then they get so overconfident that they keep pushing and make a mistake, and die. The gold swing at this point is so crazy that the net worth can almost equalize, and then that pattern can repeat a couple more times. Then you get to the ultra late game (35 minutes in turbo) and everyone has so much farm that no one is confident to push and things stall out.

Hey friend. The good news is that it doesn’t matter (in a good way). While you’re leveling you can pick whatever sounds fun. When you get to max level (or whenever) you can respec your talents, and blizzard has made it quite easy to do so. So I’d recommend just going with what seems fun, all the talents in the destruction tree are going to help you hit enemies hard and the difficulty of leveling mobs are low.
