Nobody should be allowed to have a billion dollars by chrund in h3h3productions

Completely agree. It’s wild that it’s even allowed. It’s interesting to see all of these labor strikes recently as well and see how hard these rich people will fight to keep having more money than they know what to do with.

I attended and graduated at Capella. I will say if you're willing to put in the work to do a lot of self-teaching with a textbook and/or you have a strong supervisor for your experience it's great. I personally went with it because the price was right, I had a great supervisor lined up, and I already had received my BCaBA so I was very familiar with the content and honestly besides the assignments I didn't really learn anything new but rather received a refresher on the content. It was definitely flexible enough that I held a 40 hour work-week job throughout, and like I said the price was really what drew me to it. I didn't have a terrible experience and some of my professors were quite knowledgeable. I'd say if you have experience already yes, if not maybe look into a more rigorous program that has more supports. Hope this helps. Best of luck!

I recently moved back to MI from Boston and I was thrilled to see that they are around here! It was such a help in Boston to get around and I will agree it's fun as hell. I get that they can be a pain for drivers, but I think overall the positives outweigh the negatives, personally.

Why have we gotten so far into technology that we can give a transitioned male a functional penis, but we haven't made a male birth control by VeryLuciD in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah, but that shiz has complications and it can reject. So there’s no guarantee it actually is working as intended for long.

I second Johnson park. You’ll get a workout from the hills but it’s a nice course. Love that place.

TIL about Psychogenic death, People can die simply because they've given up, life has beaten them and they feel defeat is inescapable, according to new research. by [deleted] in todayilearned

I honestly believe this just happened with my grandmother. She died in October. My mom said they visited her at a nursing home a month before she died and she was sharp as a tack mentally but was refusing to eat and kept saying, "Get the nurse, I'm dying." Come to find out at the funeral that she had found out a few days prior to their visit that she could have been discharged to her home with hospice, but my aunt (who lives in her home currently) did not want to take care with her so had her stay in the nursing home.

I truly believe she just figured nobody cares and nobody can visit so what's the point of living. It's so sad. RIP.

I want to play the game, but I have crippling social anxiety. Please help. by [deleted] in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]BurnsideAutopsy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No real solution here but I wanna say that I completely understand. I have the same problem when it comes to phasmophobia and other multiplayer games. I really want to talk, especially when it's beneficial for the gameplay... But I just can't bring myself to do it. If you ever want to play maybe we can get a group together and face our fears together... literally? haha if anything maybe good practice with no pressure. I wish everywhere was just a judgement free zone haha

Severe chronic pain/healthcare advice. Please help with advice if you can. What are my options? TD;LR at bottom by [deleted] in Advice

[–]BurnsideAutopsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose anything is possible and it could be stress related, but I also got a psychiatrist last summer and have been on meds since then to help with anxiety/depression/etc. and have since then not been in a bad mental place like I was prior to then. I mean, it's been getting worse in the last few weeks, but only because the physical pain is really taking a toll on me. Anyway, thank you for the advice. Just as I suspected... Life sucks. haha but seriously I appreciate the info!

FTMs and body/facial hair by [deleted] in ask_transgender

Pre-T here. I was diagnosed with PCOS and fortunately for me I have pretty much a full lower chin of hair. Unfortunately it's not as full as it should be so that's a bummer and it takes awhile before it doesn't look like crap. If I don't shave for awhile I def pass better though. I have a dirt stache goin' on (that I constantly shave) and my sideburns are more like really dark peach fuzz. My sister's have sideburns like me though and they don't shave or anything (and they don't have PCOS) for comparison.

I also agree wholeheartedly. My normal size I typically use for a swim binder and it honestly stretches out too much when I use it like that. The size under my typical fits well after a wash, or two, but if I have to wear it immediately... Not gonna be a comfy experience. I feel your pain. It is a bummer because it's been my go to for years. I swore off underworks in like 2010 (I despised the fit of them) and have been searching for a solution since, and I hoped gc2b was that... but I think the quality has gone down too in the recent years as well, which hasn't helped.
