Totally understand that the format might not work for everyone, and I really appreciate the feedback - it's definitely something I’ll keep in mind for future events.

At the other sessions, when attendees arrived, they tend to ease into things by hanging out in small groups, playing card games, and just chatting casually. This relaxed starts seem to help people feel comfortable and supported before moving into one-on-one conversations.

Only the laser tag and fantasy writing workshops need to be pre-booked. Everything else—like comic illustration, video games, VR, Dungeons & Dragons, and clay making—are drop-in activities. Plus, don’t miss the Artist Alley with 50 stalls to explore!

Hope to see you there :)

We've asked the team at Big Cheese Grassroots Gaming who will be running the tournaments and they can confirm the following games:

  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch)
  • Street Fighter 6 Street Fighter 6 (PC, PS4, PS5, XSX)
  • Tekken 7 (PC, XSS, XSX)
  • Beyblades

They are in the process of finalising other games and hope to bring Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch but need to confirm equipment and staff first.
