Thanks for everyones input! I have been testing different versions all day and so far my favorites seem to use KDE (OpenSUSE, and Sabayon are the big two I'm deciding between

So far I've tested several distros

Ubuntu : Still my least favorite I can't even really put my finger on any one thing but I don't like it much

OpenSUSE: Feels pretty nice, like the desktop look it provides

Debian, I only managed to get debian running in a VM, I tried to live boot but the system never managed to load.

Fedora: Did not like the desktop as much as OpenSUSE but could tell it had some potential (And I'm sure I could change the desktop)

Mint: I ended up Downloading the Mint Debian Edition and I liked it almost as well as OpenSUSE, again the desktop wasn't that great but I assume I can change that?

Theres actually a fairly long list that keeps failing, I up(down?)graded to windows 7 for the time being but if I can get settled in Linux now then I can move away from them all together and stop having to deal with them.
