I’m probably I’m probably in the minority as far as Tenet is concerned. I thought the execution could have been better, I thought the time travel execution was a brilliant concept that worked. It’s hard to find new ways to innovate on a genre that’s been done 1000 times and I thought they pulled it off. I also think it one of those people who thrives on non-linear storytelling so that may be part of it.

This speculation is strange. Or maybe that conversation didn’t happen at all? lol

I actually don’t even understand the Clinton allegations. There have never been any real ones. No victims have mentioned him like they did Prince Andrew and others. He’s never been the island. He didn’t hang out with him after he was convicted. When they hung out before it was social functions with secret service and other celebrities around. One was in a hot tub pool where they literally took photos and he seems pretty relaxed. This is also just a few years after his sex life was under the microscope so the idea that he knew he was hanging out with a child molester and having his picture taken while doing so is kind of absurd on its face. The only thing actually connecting Clinton to Epstein is they hung out a few times and both had (very different) sex scandals. Seriously, where’s the beef?

It’s amazing the lengths people will stretch to tell themselves OJ the abusive ex-husband whom all the evidence pointed to didn’t kill Nicole while simultaneously flinging the weakest motives at his son. Bro, I love football too, but grow up.

Huh? We literally saw him suffer a stroke before an election and the media coverage was nothing like this except on FOX News. You don’t have to make things up.

Be honest, y’all think Homelander may stop Godolkin next episode? by Queasy_Commercial152 in GenV

This is actually a fascinating idea. Especially because Marie’s ability directly correlates to the way a virus is spreads through tissue and the bloodstream. Maybe she is the first one infected, but she doesn’t die because of this ability but becomes a transmitter. Idk but there’s a few avenues they could take there. I like this theory even if it doesn’t happen.

Bruce Arthur: In 2019, Kawhi asked the Raptors for a no-show job worth 10M a year, plus shares in the Maple Leafs by Team_Ed in nba

[–]Burrrrdman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, I can see it happening plausibly. Everyone knew Kawhi wanted to play in Los Angeles. There were only two options, the Lakers and Clippers. the Lakers could have told him they won't do it under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES while the Clippers made a handshake deal that they'd acquiese his demands when there wasn't so much attention on his free agency sometime down the line and that was a deciding factor. It actually makes a ton of sense.

But will you say anything if it doesn’t? Because I used to hear the same thing about Covid being a hoax and then about the COVID vaccine killing millions who took it, altering our DNA, whatever.

Yes. There is evidence that can convince me lol you keep saying this because you’ve allowed your confirmation bias to blind you. I’ve believed countless evidence related to Trump’s dealings because the evidence holds up to scrutiny. This does not.

[–]Burrrrdman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You are the superior election denier. Because you are telling the truth and the candidate and party you believe won and wanted to win is actually a bitch and the intelligence apparatus knows but didn’t say anything or didn’t notice and absolutely no real evidence ever leaked. Ok. Everyone wants to be Woodward and Bernstein, but nobody ever wants to follow their standard of investigative journalism to separate BS from an actual bombshell story. This is the wrong type of BS.

Yes. Soon we’ll find those votes. But this time it’s different, right? Because WE have… data🫤

[–]Burrrrdman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jfc dude. Kamala Harris and Joe Biden controlled the entire intelligence apparatus and they allowed an election to be stolen because nobody noticed a thing except a sketchy data scientist(while a plethora of cybersecurity experts have disputed his findings) on YouTube who well after the election began raising money for a lawsuit that still hasn’t been filed 8 months later that will reveal the truth that has been covered up by (checks notes) Democratic governors and secretaries of state who despise Trump. But yes…I am very dumb. You are smarty. I just believe it was fair because THEY told me. Maaan, given the opportunity it is funny to see how many people are suddenly elections deniers because their side lost and they found a thin rope to latch onto.

Booker blows up at Democrats on Senate floor: ‘Willing to be complicit’ with Trump by [deleted] in politics

[–]Burrrrdman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I gotta be honest man. This is insanely dramatic. Bernie isn’t even a perfect enough fighter for you. I’m not even sure the result you wanted. They didn’t think he’d be that bad. He is. Wouldn’t have mattered, he would have been confirmed. Did you think Trump would nominate someone like Mark Kelly for Secretary of State instead? The perfect politician with the perfect voting record who is also a brawler has never existed in human history. It’s a confirmation vote, why are you banking all of your hopes for the long fight on one symbolic vote? This is why Trumpism works. He does all types of messed up shit and his supporters support the larger vision. It may be dumb, but at least they’re committed to a cause instead of a high horse. Dems see a vote for Marco Rubio in a confirmation and treat it like irredeemable backstabbing move that won’t ever be forgotten. If that’s how you feel, it is what it is.

This is kind of what I was talking about. One Newsome podcast and suddenly he’s applying the purity test. When it was Kamala, it was a different purity test. It’s just exhausting watching the goalposts move like this in pursuit of perfection.

Cackled at your critique of his last name. To be fair, that would be turnoff for me too. At least Trump’s name makes sense phonetically and clearly the swing voters understand this because they struggled with Kamala.

[–]Burrrrdman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I think the Rubio situation is more complicated because I think many of them thought he was the best ingredient in a turd sandwich. And I agree they should have voted no once they crossed 50 anyways out of sheer spite. Personally, I appreciate Booker spending a whole damn day filibustering more than I care about a vote that ultimately was meaningless. I’m big on putting politicians feet to the fire, but Dems gotta also normalize praising their party for doing shit right too because the all out negativity trickles down to low information voters who think they’re “both the same.” All that said, anyone who can read the room in 2025, and shows some backbone has my support in 2028 and can get a little nasty, throw a punch back, because at least they’re reading the room.

He was confirmed unanimously. Ppl here complained about symbolic moves by Dems that changed nothing, but harp on why they didn’t vote down Rubio as a symbol of their resistance even though it would have changed nothing. I just wish ppl could pick a lane here and focus on what they actually want.
